Technology Health Check

When you're not sure where your technology currently stands or where to start, a health check gives you a clear picture of the situation.

Often the hardest part isn't the technology itself — it's seeing where things actually stand. What's slowing you down? What's worth fixing, and what can you safely leave alone? These are hard questions to answer without the full picture, and in the middle of daily work that picture rarely gets formed.

In a health check, I go through what you have today with you: the equipment, the systems, and the way things get done. Out of that comes a view of where things actually get stuck and what would be worth doing first. Quite often the most useful finding is that something you had planned isn't worth doing at all — that saves money and effort too.
